# 2026.10 release

### Improved MCP connector

We've updated our MCP connector with new tools that will help you get more out of Technis by integrating it into your agentic workflows:

- **Reports:** describe a report you want and your assistant picks the best layout, charts and content. Keep refining existing reports
- **Alerts:** describe conditions or issues you want to be notified about and get alerts via e-mail, SMS or push notifications.

We've also made it easier and faster for LLM assistants to use our tools, helping you reduce token usage.

**Tip**: Your LLM assistant has same permissions as you in Technis, it cannot see or modify that you don't have access to.

### Chart explanations and real-time data

With this release we've made it easier to see at a glance what each widget is showing:

- Widget header: every widget now shows its scope (sites, zones or passages) and time aggregation at the top, so you know what you're looking at without opening the configuration.
- Information icon: next to the three dots on every widget, including floor plans and the multi-site map, a new ⓘ icon opens a summary of the metric and its definition, the widget's scope and time aggregation, and when data was last received. For widgets with several metrics, switch between them in the same window.

In addition to better visibility, we've added support for real-time data in may widgets. Whenever a widget displays "Latest", the displayed data is updating in near-real-time. 

### Other improvements

- API: You can now [upload your sales receipts](https://apidocs.technis.com/reference/receiptscontroller_postreceipts_v3) via the API. With sales data you can see your shops real conversion rate and other details directly in Technis.
