# Corporate firewall and network requirements

To use all the features of the Technis platform, you need to make sure that access to the required hostnames and ports listed below is permitted at all times.

### How the Technis platform works

The Technis platform consists of a web-based administration and reporting interface, a mobile app for review data on-the-go, and [sensors](https://27034588.hs-sites-eu1.com/en/supported-devices-and-integrations?hsLang=en) that capture information about your space.

The web-based platform, mobile app and devices user services provided by our partners to deliver you the best experience, such as [email](https://support.technis.com/firewall#email) and SMS alerts, push notifications, support, or even this documentation.

### Required hostnames and ports

The table below describes all required hostnames, ports and IP addresses for the best Technis experience.

All connections are initiated by the users and are bi-directional. Your firewall needs to allow outgoing traffic to the listed hostnames and ports.

### Email delivery

To ensure emails such as user invitations and alerts are delivery in a timely manner, ensure emails coming from **technis.com** are approved.

### Sensor specific settings

Depending on the sensors installed at your sites, you may need to allow make additional network changes.
