What is Technis?
Technis is a helps you monitor and understand metrics like footfall, air quality, and occupancy across your physical locations. With interactive reports and real-time alerts, Technis lets you explore trends and insights effortlessly.
Core concepts
Before you get started, you should know about three core Techins concepts:
- Sites are physical locations, such as your shops, offices, museums, or events.
- Devices or sensors, are specialized hardware units (mats, cameras or air sensors) installed on-site.
- Metrics are measurements captured by devices on a particular site -- number of visitors inside a space, time spent, or CO2 levels.

Quickstart
Step 1. Set your objectives and plan metrics
Together with your Technis representative, you will help us understand your business's objectives and map them to metrics that you can use to make informed decisions.

| Optimize conversion in a store | Number of visits and time spent for each zone, conversion rate |
| Upscale or downscale your office | Occupancy of each floor, meeting room and parking spot |
| Ensure safety of an event | Entrances and exits at each control point, density |
Step 3. Deploy devices
Based on the metrics needed, Technis team will help you plan which devices might most accurately capture this data, install them on on-site and support you with on-going maintenance.
Step 4. Analyze data
Once your devices are setup, you will be able to monitor the data in real-time using built-in reports or create your own, more reports that focus on specific issues or improvement.
This data will empower you to make informed decisions in order to achieve your objectives.
Step 5. Configure alerts
To react to any on-site changes, such as long queuing times or overcrowding, you can get an e-mail or SMS alert directly to your phone.
